Trinitas Classical School joins with parents to provide the very best in Christian classical education—teaching students to discover, discern, and desire truth; nurturing mind, body, and spirit within an ecumenical Christian community.

Trinitas enrolls full-time students and part-time homeschool partners in grades K-8.

• Map and Directions to our new location at Orchard Hill Reformed Church

We are offically moved over to Orchard Hill, as of Friday August 13. The new address is 1465 Three Mile Rd. NW, Grand Rapids 49544. Our phone number will remain the same: 616.855.6518. For your convenience here is a map of our new location.

• Lost Tools of Writing Essay Contest

Two of our eighth graders have been named among ten national finalists in the 2010 Lost Tools of Writing Essay Contest!  Students in Grades 8-12 were asked to consider the relationship between education and liberty in an essay of 900-1100 words.  Congratulations!

• Iowa Test Results

Results of this year’s standardized testing have been received, and our classes again placed among the top in the nation.  Nearly every grade level placed at or above the 98th percentile!  For a more detailed summary by classroom, see our response to the FAQ about standardized testing.

• FACTS Tuition Management

Trinitas partners with FACTS for management of tuition payment plans. Families choosing the bi-annual or 10-month payment plans may sign up here: FACTS Tuition Management.

• Thoughtful Reader Book Club (TR)

  TR is open to all students, grades K-8. The purpose of this club is to encourage students to read, discuss, and enjoy! good literature. TR will host Book Character Day on Monday May 17, 2010 for full and part-time students. Leave your uniform at home and come dressed as your favorite book character. Watch for more details about the day's fun activities.

• Students in Grades 5-8 took the National Latin Exam

  Trinitas students took the National Latin Exam again this year.  Eleven students received awards. Congratulations! Felicitationes, discipuli Latinae!

• Trinitas 7th & 8th grade students won awards at the Michigan Jr. Classical League Convention

  Students participated in a Latin quiz bowl and took several Latin tests.  Many Trinitas students received awards!   They also listened to some interesting lectures on the Lost Tomb of Alexander the Great,  the Ancient Olympics, Jason and the Argonauts, and Latin and the Law.  Congratulations to:
  Hannah  for third place in Latin Derivatives, Claire for 1st place in Certamen ( Quiz bowl team 
  competition) and 1st place in Latin grammar, Jaredt for a 3rd place in Latin Derivatives, Jenn for a 1st place in Latin vocabulary and a 2nd place in Derivatives. Trinitas was awarded 2nd place for our Roll Call skit, a RAP done by Miles and Noah.  (This deserved 1st place in Mrs. Kratt's opinion!)
