Our Mission

Trinitas Classical School joins with parents to provide the very best in Christian classical education—teaching students to discover, discern, and desire truth; nurturing mind, body, and spirit within an ecumenical Christian community.

Trinitas enrolls full-time students and part-time homeschool partners in grades K-8.  

News & Events

  • Chess Club Tournament

  • The students who have been learning chess strategies for the past month and a half have challenged parents and faculty to a little competition.  On December 12th from 2:45-3:45 p.m., Trinitas will hold a chess tournament for those students who have been participating in Chess Club and all Trinitas parents and pedagogues. Come, test your skills, and enjoy the fun!

  • Christmas Lessons and Carols

  • All are invited to attend the 9th annual Trinitas Lessons and Carols concert on December 19th at 10:30 a.m.  The concert will take place in the auditorium of Orchard Hill Reformed Church. Light holiday refreshments will be served following the concert.

  • Spelling Bee

  • Full-time students in Grades 1-8 will compete in the annual Scripps Spelling Bee; Homeschool Partnership students are invited to participate. Kindergarteners will not compete but enjoy some spelling-oriented games that will prepare and excite them for their future bees.  Students in Grades 1-3 will challenge their classmates in a single elimination round in their own classrooms until a winner and runner-up can be declared.  Students in grades 4 through 8 will compete according to the rules of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, and the winner and runner up for this age group will move on to the regional bee. 

  • Parent Information Night

  • Trinitas will host a Parent Information Night on Tuesday, February 3, at 7 p.m. at Orchard Hill Reformed Church, 1465 Three Mile Rd. NW.  Meet the students, parents, and teachers of Trinitas, and see why we’re so excited about Christian classical education. Refreshments, nursery, and activities for older children will be provided. Contact us to learn more or to let us know you plan to attend.  Register online, or call us at 616-855-6518.  Trinitas is a member school of Christian Schools International (CSI) and the Association for Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS).

  • Gr. 5-8 Homeschool P.E. Option

  • Homeschooling families with students in Gr. 5-8 have the option to enroll in the Friday afternoon PE class, which immediately follows the HSP Science classes for 5-6 and 7-8. The Friday PE class focuses on team games like soccer, floor hockey, and basketball (acquaintance with rules, development of skill, etc.).  

  • Applications for Employment

  • In anticipation of future growth, Trinitas Classical School is accepting applications for instructional and administrative employment.  If you are interested in joining the community of Trinitas faculty and staff, please email info@trinitasclassical.org to request an application and return it with the necessary supporting documents.  We wish to thank all applicants in advance for their interest; however, we will contact only those to whom we will offer an interview.
